Help provide transportation for Afghan refugees to attend Jummah prayer.

Oklahoma has welcomed hundreds of Afghan refugees, with a total of 1,800 settling in our state over the coming months. Oklahoma City is set to receive around 800 individuals. To help welcome our new neighbors, we have organized busses to transport them from their temporary lodging to Jummah prayer at the Grand Mosque and back home each Friday.

To accommodate the dozens of Afghan families wanting to join us in our communal prayer each week, we must rent busses. The cost is $600/week for round trip service. We have set up a fund to raise money to help cover these costs. Your support will help provide these new Oklahomans the opportunity to gather and pray with fellow Muslims and engage with members of their new community.
